A resident consultation session was held last week (3 December 2024) regarding the Plumpton Road Project, with a focus on assisting residents in the project area to gain a greater understanding of upgrades planned in the coming months.

Those in attendance were given the opportunity to speak directly with members of the Project Delivery team and ask their questions about proposed changes to Plumpton Road and the surrounding infrastructure.

A number of queries were raised around aspects of planned works, including (but not limited to) project scope, pedestrian safety and potential environmental impacts.

Council thanks those residents who attended and engaged in the discussion. This information is being collated and will be considered in the overall design and project delivery.

Additional information sessions will be scheduled as the project progresses, with the next session planned for early 2025.
