Construction works on the upgrade of the intersection at Pine Gully Road and Cootamundra Boulevard are entering the home stretch.

Project Manager Henry Collie said the concrete was poured and stencilled on the centre island of the roundabout earlier this week.

"The last of the service relocation works have also taken place this week, allowing the contractors to start the asphalt work on the new intersection and its approaches," Mr Collie said.

“It’s expected this will take around a week to complete and then the asphalt will need time to cure before the line marking can be done."

At this stage, Council is expecting the new roundabout expected will be open to traffic in early May 2026.
