Notice of Council Meeting - Proposed development control plan provisions

24 March 2020

Council recently undertook public consultation on the draft Planning Proposal – LEP19/0002 located at Morgan, Murray and Forsyth Streets and you registered an interest in this proposal.

A report proposing site specific development controls for the Morgan, Murray and Forsyth Street mixed use area is being considered at the Council Meeting scheduled for Monday 30 March 2020. This is directly related to the draft Planning Proposal that you have previously indicated an interest in and hence we are informing you of this upcoming meeting and report.

The report is seeking Councils endorsement of changes to the Wagga Wagga Development Control Plan to support the Planning Proposal. If the recommendation is supported the amendments will go on Public Exhibition for a period of 28 days with submissions invited and received for up to 42 days from when exhibition commences.

Thank you for your ongoing interest in this project.

If you have any questions regarding this amendment and report please contact Councils Senior Strategic Planner, Crystal Atkinson on 02 6926 9556, during normal office hours.
