About Oura

Oura is about 15 km northeast of Wagga Wagga City, nestled amongst lush winery land and the flowing waters of the Murrumbidgee River.

The 2021 census listed Oura’s population at 246.

Oura was the home of former resident Leslie Redgrave, who was an author, headmaster and grazier, best known for his 1913 novel Gwen: a romance of Australian station life.
