There’s still time to share your thoughts on the future of tourism in Wagga Wagga.

Since the draft Plan opened for feedback on 29 November 2024, the Destination Management Plan engagement team have been out and about in the community, promoting the draft Plan to locals and businesses across the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area (LGA).

From popping up in our villages alongside Council’s Agile Library service to chatting with locals at cafes, the team have been busy gathering valuable insights to ensure the plan is on the right track.

We’ve also held sessions with our city’s youth (special thanks to the Youth Week Crew for their fantastic ideas) as well as sessions with our neighbouring regional councils and local visitor economy businesses.

You may have also noticed our Destination Management Plan messaging around the city, including static kiosks in key visitor locations, postcards and posters along Baylis and Fitzmaurice streets.

Thank you to everyone who has supplied their feedback so far. Check out some photos from our community consultation so far and be sure to check the Have Your Say engagement page for upcoming sessions where you can meet with staff and share your ideas and feedback.

Submissions close 16 February 2025.
