Join the busy, dynamic team at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre – as you work and learn all aspects of theatre processes. Kick off your career in venue administration with this exciting role whilst working towards obtaining a Certificate IV in Arts and Cultural Administration.

What Wagga Civic Theatre will offer you:

  • Traineeship for two (2) years with potential for ongoing employment
  • Obtain a nationally accredited Certificate IV in Arts and Cultural Administration
  • Above award rates! Commencing salary of $1,552.20 gross per fortnight plus superannuation (at 18 years of age or older), varying rates subject to age and experience as per award provisions
  • Further opportunities to grow your skill set through additional courses, training, mentoring and support

What you will need to succeed:

The successful applicant will have:

  • willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Arts and Cultural Administration
  • a current Class P1, P2 or C Driver Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • enthusiasm, motivation and an eagerness to learn all aspects of theatre operations.
  • ability to work independently and within a team
  • a desire to treat others with respect and work safely to meet Work Health and Safety requirements
