Nestled between Tarcutta and Tumbarumba and with a population of 129, Humula is 65km from Wagga Wagga’s city centre.

During the gold rush, which began in 1851, Humula was called “American Yards” or “American Fields”.

The village has a notable public school and well-loved sports club.
