About Collingullie

If you travel about 26 km along the Sturt Highway from Wagga Wagga, you’ll find Collingullie resting amongst the Riverina countryside.

In 2021, Collingullie’s population was 258.

Collingullie’s name is derived from the Wiradjuri word for ‘boggy ground’: a wide flood plain separates the village from the Murrumbidgee River.

In 2022, land within the identified growth area was rezoned to support around 150 new lots, providing enough housing supply for the next 10–15 years, however, urgent infrastructure upgrades are required, and works are planned within the next 5 years.
