Overview
Council is inviting feedback on a proposed new fee for using the oval lighting at Harris Park in 2025/26. Submissions are open from 12 August until 9 September 2025.
The fee is for the use of lighting on the Mini/Mod fields, at $11.42/hour.
Following the public exhibition period, Council will receive a report addressing any submissions made in respect of the proposed new fee.
Summary
Council has recently upgraded the oval lighting at Harris Park by installing a Cloud Master unit. This new system allows for the lights to now be booked through Council’s regular sportsground lighting booking system, just like all other sportsgrounds.
However, the lighting fee for the Mini/Mod fields was missed in the recent fee updates.
At its Ordinary Meeting on Monday 11 August, Council endorsed placing the new fee on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from 12 August until 9 September 2025.
