Despite wet weather, firm progress has still been made toward final delivery of the Narrung Street Former Landfill project in recent weeks.

The project – now in its final stage – awaits some drier weather conditions, at which point contractors will be in a position to complete installation of the playground and undertake key works to finalise the irrigation system, hydroseeding, and turf required.

This additional time, weather permitting, will also enable any concrete poured to cure more effectively, which is essential to the long-term stability of surrounding infrastructure.
