Overview

Council is facilitating the development of a new Community Strategic Plan (CSP) which is the highest-level plan that a Council will prepare. Our CSP will be known as “Wagga Wagga 2050”.

Together with the community, we will identify the:

• long-term vision,
• aspirations, and
• main priorities for the local government area.

The plan will provide a roadmap of how this will be achieved.

The CSP will provide direction and focus of all future plans for the City of Wagga Wagga over the coming 20 - 25 years. The plan will also consider state and regional plans and priorities as they apply to our community.

We have lots of opportunities for the community to get involved and be heard. We also want the engagements to be fun and memorable to really get us all creatively thinking about our future.

We will be visiting your local village and/or suburb to hear from you. We will also be attending many community events, your local shopping centres, schools, facilitating focus groups.
