Draft Plan is on public exhibition. Submissions now open!
Overview
The Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is the highest-level plan that a Council will prepare. It provides direction and focus of all future plans for the City of Wagga Wagga.
The draft Wagga Wagga 2050 CSP has been developed through strong collaboration and engagement with the community and addresses four key questions:
- Where are we now?
- Where do we want to be in 10+ years' time?
- How will we get there?
- How will we know we have arrived?
The proposed vision for Wagga Wagga 2050 is for our community to be a vibrant, growing and sustainable regional city.
The draft plan has four key strategic focus areas:
- Vibrant
- Growing
- Sustainable
- Regional leader
Public exhibition of the draft plan
Following community engagement during 2024 we collated the data from the 2500+ submissions we received. We then drafted the Wagga Wagga 2050 Community Strategic Plan using this data.
At its Ordinary Meeting on 10 February 2025, Council endorsed the draft plan to go on public exhibition for 28 days from Tuesday 11 February until Wednesday 12 March 2025 to allow feedback from the community.
Submissions can be made below, we will also be going out to the community with the plan to allow all members of the community to provide feedback.
