Exciting progress was made at the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre during the last week with the arrival of a 200 tonne crane, which has been used to install new light towers on the site. Cabling and commissioning of the lights is scheduled to follow in the new year, as weather and contractor availability permit. At a ground level, the revamped track continues to cure in preparation for its final surface to be laid.
