Despite wet weather, firm progress has been made on the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre in recent weeks.

Irrigation works to the infield are well-developed and trackside fence posts have now been installed, while works related to infill panels have been deferred until after surfacing works are complete.

The circulation access path is also being prepared and poured as the weather permits, noting that drier conditions are required for the concrete to cure effectively.
