Overview

Council is facilitating the development of a new Community Strategic Plan (CSP) which is the highest-level plan that a Council will prepare. Our CSP will be known as “Wagga Wagga 2050”.

Together with the community, we will identify the:

  • long-term vision,
  • aspirations, and
  • main priorities for the local government area.

The plan will provide a roadmap of how this will be achieved.

The CSP will provide direction and focus of all future plans for the City of Wagga Wagga over the coming 20 - 25 years. The plan will also consider state and regional plans and priorities as they apply to our community.

What is the Community Strategic Plan?

Community input

From late 2023 to mid 2024 we held engagement to allow the community to provide their feedback to develop the CSP. This included:

  • Online surveys
  • Pop-up information stalls
  • Community workshops
  • Information session

We received a lot of feedback which is being used to create the draft plan.

Understanding what people love and what is important can help us to think about what we would like to see more of in our community in the future.
